Terms of Service

Last updated 16 October 2026

These terms apply when you install or use the PDF2Products app for Shopify or this website. By installing the app you agree to them.

The service

PDF2Products reads supplier PDF catalogues you upload, extracts product information and images, and lets you review and push the results to your Shopify store. We may improve, change or remove features over time.

Your account and eligibility

You need a Shopify store and the authority to bind the business that owns it. You are responsible for activity on your store’s installation of the app and for keeping your Shopify access secure.

Your content

You keep ownership of the PDFs you upload and the product data produced from them. You give us a limited licence to store and process that content, including by sending it to our AI providers, solely to provide the service to you. You promise you have the right to upload what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

Review the results

Extraction is automated and can be wrong or incomplete. We flag results we are unsure about, but you are responsible for checking titles, descriptions, prices, images and other details before you push them to your store and sell them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content;
  • try to disrupt, probe or overload the service, or access another merchant’s data;
  • reverse engineer the service or use it to build a competing service;
  • resell the service or share your installation with other stores.

We may suspend use that breaks these rules or puts the service at risk.

Plans and billing

Charges are billed through Shopify on your normal Shopify invoice, according to the plan you choose. Current plans, limits and prices are shown on our pricing section and on the plan selection page in Shopify. Plan changes take effect through Shopify. Taxes may apply. Refunds, where offered, are handled through Shopify’s billing process or by contacting us.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. On uninstall we delete your access token and, after Shopify’s erasure notice, your stored data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted, error free or that extracted data will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell merchants through the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over disputes.
